The FH2511K is a pressed steel hook designed for 25mm webbing. The hook is designed with a spring loaded safety catch that once engaged will not come detached; this offers a better level of security than standard hooks. The length of the hook is 75mm and the curvature of the hook will allow it to fit on to a 8mm bar. The hook is used in the manufacture of cargo securing equipment and is used by GTF in the manufacture of its cargo restraint straps. The hook is made from carbon steel and has a breaking strength (BS) of 1100Kg.
The hook meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the hook to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 550daN. This capacity is stamped on the hook together with the part number FH2511K together with the suppliers name GTF for full traceability.
The FH2511K is also available with out a safety catch, FH2511. The FH2511K can be used in conjunction with the CB2507 Cam Buckle, it clips into the back of the cam buckle allowing for quick release.
