Pressed Hooks

Pressed hooks are made from steel plate punched with appropriate attachment holes and then formed to hook over a fixed or free standing attachment point.  This means that some versions of pressed hook are simple fold overs attached to chassis or bodywork stanchions.  More sophisticated versions attach to rails predrilled with specific attachment points. Plates for this type of operation have a central spring loaded post (sometimes called a Keeper) which locates into a hole on a rail and thus the hook is secured from movement.
